But they must also face Mr Black, a ruthless hunter who wants to kill Star and take its horn.

The Lost Unicorn is a story of friendship, adventure, and magic. It is a story that will make you laugh, cry, and wonder. It is a story that will make you believe in unicorns.

  • Chapter 1: Lily finds Star in the woods and decides to take it home and hide it in her backyard shed. She tries to help it and learns that it is a unicorn, a rare and magical creature that can heal with its horn, fly with its wings, and communicate telepathically with those it trusts.
  • Chapter 2: Lily tells Jake, her best friend, about Star and shows it to him. Jake is shocked and amazed by Star and agrees to help Lily find a way to send it back to its home, a hidden realm of fairies and other creatures called Avalon. They decide to look for clues in the library and online, hoping to find a map or a portal or a spell that could lead them to Avalon.
  • Chapter 3: Mr Black, the hunter who shot Star, is still looking for it. He works for a secret organization that deals with the illegal trade of magical creatures and artifacts. He has a device that can track down Star’s horn signal, but he has trouble finding it in the woods. He decides to hire some local thugs to help him search the town and the surrounding area.
  • Chapter 4: Lily and Jake find out that there is an ancient stone circle in the woods, not far from where Lily found Star. They learn that the stone circle is actually a portal to Avalon, but it only opens on certain nights when the moon is full. They also learn that they need a special key to activate the portal, which is a silver pendant with a unicorn symbol on it. They don’t know where to find the pendant, but they decide to go to the stone circle anyway, hoping that Star’s horn could work as a substitute.
  • Chapter 5: Lily and Jake spend some time with Star in the woods, where they learn some of its magic and see some visions of Avalon. Star tells them that it was separated from its herd when it was attacked by Mr Black, who stole the pendant from its leader. It asks Lily and Jake to help it find its way back to Avalon before the poison from Mr Black’s arrow kills it or he finds it again.
  • Chapter 6: Mr Black and his thugs follow Lily and Jake to the stone circle, using their tracking devices. They plan to capture Star and kill Lily and Jake. They also have the pendant with them, which they don’t know is the key to the portal.
  • Chapter 7: Lily and Jake reach the stone circle and try to use Star’s horn as a key, but nothing happens. They realize that they need the pendant after all. They are then attacked by Mr Black and his thugs, who have followed them. They try to defend themselves and Star from the attackers, using sticks and stones as weapons. Max also tries to bite them and scare them away.
  • Chapter 8: Lily sees the pendant on Mr Black’s neck and decides to take a risk and run towards him, dodging his bullets and punches. She manages to grab the pendant and rip it off his neck, while he curses and tries to stop her. She runs back to the stone circle and puts the pendant on Star’s horn, hoping that it will work.
  • Chapter 9: The pendant works and the stone circle starts to glow brighter and a portal opens in the air, showing a glimpse of Avalon. Star feels the call of its home and gets up, ready to go through the portal. It thanks Lily and Jake for their help and friendship and tells them that they are always welcome in Avalon. It also gives them a gift: a small feather from its wing, which has some of its magic. It says that they can use it to contact it or visit it anytime they want. It then flies through the portal, followed by Max, who decides to go with it.
  • Epilogue: Lily and Jake are sad to see Star and Max go, but they are also happy that they have helped them and saved them from Mr Black. They wave goodbye and watch as the portal closes behind them. They then turn to face Mr Black and his thugs, who are furious and ready to kill them. They don’t know what to do, but they are not afraid anymore. They have each other and they have Star’s feather, which gives them courage and hope.
